Service Engineer - Hydraulic

Location: Singapore / The service engineer will be based in Tuas and reports to the Operation Manager.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of offshore piling hammers and ancillary equipment (rental fleet and customer equipment)
• Assist with loading and offloading of equipment
• Operates the overhead cranes and drives the forklift
• After a proper introduction period, onsite trouble shooting may be required
• In due course able to work offshore to operate the equipment
• Hands on, flexible and inventive, willingness to learn and perform ad hoc duties as assigned
• The successful candidate must be experienced in the field of, repair and maintenance in a highly technical environment.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Able to write reports, and work in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Service and customer-oriented
• Able to travel at short notice
