About The Job
We are looking for a seasoned Service Delivery Director to lead and manage the delivery of critical IT infrastructure services covering both cloud and hybrid setups for a large-scale government-focused shared services environment. This leadership role will require overseeing the delivery and performance of complex platforms spanning public cloud (AWS, Azure), on-premise infrastructure (servers, storage, databases, and network systems), and enterprise-level monitoring tools.
You will be responsible for ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across these platforms, while collaborating with government stakeholders to align services with operational needs. The role also involves building and leading cross-functional teams, driving service improvements, and ensuring all operations adhere to best practices and compliance standards.
Skills And Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years of service delivery management in cloud and on-prem environments.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership or team management role.
- Prior experience working in or delivering services to government entities or shared services is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong command of hybrid IT infrastructure, networking (LAN, WAN, firewalls), and on-prem solutions.
- Solid understanding of database platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Familiar with enterprise monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana.
- Strong grasp of cloud and network security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Practical experience implementing ITIL or equivalent IT service frameworks.
- Ability to manage change, incidents, and ensure timely root cause resolution.
- Proficient in developing disaster recovery and continuity strategies.
- ITIL, AWS, Azure, or cloud solution architect credentials.
- Security certifications like CISSP or CISM are a plus.
- Familiarity with automation tools and government regulatory frameworks (e.g., IM8) is beneficial.
