Job Duties:
Define and execute the organization's cloud service delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term digital transformation initiatives.
Lead the assessment and migration of on-premise infrastructure and applications to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Evaluate existing IT infrastructure, applications, and security posture to determine cloud readiness and define migration priorities.
Oversee day-to-day cloud operations to maintain high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud environments.
Ensure cloud environments comply with industry security standards and implement best practices including IAM, encryption, and network security.
Monitor cloud consumption and implement cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient utilization of cloud resources.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing cloud operations team while promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Implement monitoring tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve operational efficiency.
Lead incident response processes, minimize service disruptions, and implement preventive measures to mitigate operational and security risks.
Design and maintain robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to ensure resilience of cloud services.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure or operations, with at least 10 years working in cloud environments.
Strong expertise in AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including architecture, services, and operational best practices.
Proven experience leading large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, CSA).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native operations.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams, including mentoring and performance management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
