Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Take orders from patrons for food or beverages.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Write patrons food orders on order slips, memorize orders or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Serve patrons earnestly to ensure a comfortable dining experience.
- Recommend signature dishes and take orders in an expedient manner.
- Serve dishes and prepare drinks when ready.
- Clear tables to reset for the next patron in a prompt manner.
- Prepare receipts and collect payment and feedback.
- Manage reservations and queues.
- Work with the kitchen team closely to ensure food quality and prompt service.
- Manage takeaway and food delivery orders accurately.
- Maintain an excellent standard of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Ability to carry out required tasks in an accurate manner.
- Ability to maintain composure during rush hours.
- Ability to present bills, take orders and deliver them to clients in a timely manner.
