Job Summary:
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Service Crew at our Bakery at JEWEL. In this role, you will be the face of the bakery-welcoming guests and taking orders.
Ideal candidates are passionate about quality food, warm customer service, and working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, counters, and restrooms.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and restocking.
- Monitor stock levels of front-of-house supplies and notify the manager when replenishment is needed.
- Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bakery staff to ensure smooth service and communication.
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in food service, customer service, or hospitality preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic service environment.
- Comfortable working weekends and Public Holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and operating POS systems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- On-the-job training provided for the right candidate.

- Able to communicate in Mandarin is essential.
