Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Food Services Crew Leaders and Service Crew.
Allocate work assignments and ensure sufficient manpower coverage.
Support the Supervisor in staff development and performance management.
Oversee daily food service operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Monitor food preparation, portioning, serving and replenishment activities.
Ensure food quality, presentation and portion control meet established standards.
Coordinate opening, closing and shift handover activities.
Ensure sufficient food, ingredients and operational supplies are available.
Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Resolve service issues promptly and escalate major concerns to the Supervisor.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation requirements.
Conduct regular checks on food handling, storage and temperature control.
Monitor cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, service counters and equipment.
Monitor stock levels, food supplies and operational materials.
Oversee stocktaking and inventory control activities.
Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices.
Assist the Supervisor in preparing operational reports.
Monitor daily operational performance and service standards.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation practices.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Able to manage manpower and daily operational challenges.
Responsible, organised and able to work under pressure.
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, if required.
