- Udon Shin is a Japanese udon specialist that started in Tokyo (in 2011). In November 2025, it opened its first international outlet - Singapore. The concept is all about craftsmanship and freshness: we follow a Four Fresh philosophy - Udon noodles are freshly kneaded, freshly cut, freshly boiled, and tempura is freshly fried. The kitchen is an open concept where diners can see their Udon being freshly made and cooked.
Job Summary
The primary role of the Service Crew is to support the Restaurant Manager and team by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to create a positive dining experience
- Accurately take customer orders using the ordering system and serve food and beverages promptly
- Clear tables efficiently to prepare for the next customers and maintain a tidy dining area
- Operate the cashier to process payments correctly and handle transactions with accuracy
- Respond promptly and clearly to customer inquiries and feedback to enhance satisfaction
- Follow Operational SOPs consistently to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant according to SFA's hygiene and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members about menu recommendations and service feedback
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Previous work experience in food and beverage service to support effective customer interaction
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to maintain a safe dining environment
- Positive work attitude and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
