Senior Welder

Responsibilities

. Coordinate with project engineers, clients, and site supervisors to monitor project progress and meet scheduled milestones.

. Supervise and inspect work at project sites to ensure compliance with quality and quantity standards.

. Perform TIG, arc, and pipe welding tasks in both workshop and site environments.

. Carry out grinding tasks on iron, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.

. Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify and rectify defects or errors.

. Request and organize additional resources as needed to maintain project continuity and success.

. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager or employer.

Requirements

Technical Skills

. Proficiency in TIG welding is essential knowledge of arc welding is an added advantage.

. Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Quality Assurance

. Strong ability to evaluate and ensure the quality of welded surfaces and structures.

Flexibility

. Willingness to accept ad-hoc tasks as required.
