Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design and coordination of water supply, sewerage and drainage systems for infrastructure and building projects.

  • Prepare and review engineering design calculations, technical drawings, reports and specifications related to water supply, sewerage and stormwater drainage systems.

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant local authority regulations, engineering standards and project requirements.

  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, structural engineers and other consultants to ensure proper integration of drainage and water systems within the overall project design.

  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers and technical staff.

  • Participate in project planning, design review meetings and technical discussions with clients, consultants and contractors.

  • Support tender preparation including technical proposals, cost estimation and engineering solutions.

  • Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements and ensure compliance with approved design.

  • Conduct site inspections when required to ensure proper implementation of drainage and water infrastructure systems.

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in drainage, sewerage and water supply engineering design.

  • Strong knowledge of stormwater drainage systems, sewerage networks, water supply infrastructure and hydraulic design.

  • Experience in infrastructure, urban development, industrial or mixed-use projects will be an advantage.

  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoWorks, or similar hydraulic modelling tools.

  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.

  • Professional Engineer registration or eligibility for professional registration will be an advantage.
