Job Description
To assist GPFS Business Finance Head, leading team of analysts, in providing financial and business analysis, drive performance, establishing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Singapore PFS.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner and working with Singapore PFS Head and Product teams on their budgeting, monthly close & forecast and driving performance of PFS franchise.
- Lead a team of business analysts to drive performance management across PFS product income, overall Expenses & Headcount and overall consolidation.
- Coordinate, prepare and attend monthly business reviews. Lead financial discussions.
- Reviewing opportunities and risks of business / product financials
- Annual MAS Stress test & ICAAP review and validation
- 3-Year Strategic Planning
- Perform quality analysis, track and monitor margins, volumes, productivity, headcount, cost initiatives and non-financial KPIs
- Fund Transfer Pricing review
- Client Segment reporting & forecasting
- Review Investor Relations reporting (segment financial reporting, non-financial KPIs, commentaries through FAQ reports, etc.)
- Product & Segment mapping / hierarchy rollup, MIS related and ad-hoc projects
- Governance and controls over all financial and accounting matters
- Develop and train cohesive team, build bench strength
Job Requirements
- A recognized university degree in Finance/Business or its equivalent. Accounting background preferred.
- At least 12-15 years of relevant working experience in performance management role; able to consolidate MIS in clear, actionable and timely manner
- Experience in Consumer business of Bank is preferred.
- Building and maintaining in-house performance dashboard for all financial and non-financial information for products, segments and geography
- Must have good understanding of funds transfer pricing and products business drivers
- Familiar with usage of reporting tool such as Power BI, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle and skilled in Microsoft applications
- Experience in creation and aligning cost center, GL and product hierarchy
- Meticulous, analytical and pro-active in solving problems
- A self-starter who is able to work independently as well as leading teams
- Able to present recommendations with clarity and conviction to meet business goals.
- Driven and energetic individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of organization
