Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious communications and integrated brand expert with deep experience in consumer sectors leader to head up a team in a leading global communications agency.

A Little Background:

In this role you will have full ownership to lead a high-performing team on integrated brand and public relations strategies across a wide range of sectors including automotive, travel, retail, F&B, beauty and many more. You will be responsible for the growth of the practice and will work closely with the Managing Director to achieve new business targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with and manage Singapore's portfolio of Consumer and Integrated Brand clients, acting as a senior point of counsel.
  • Work closely with the market leadership to develop a new business strategy for the consumer team, execute the strategy, and demonstrate creativity in approaching and securing new business opportunities.
  • Lead your team to develop compelling proposals and new business pitches, present them proficiently and persuasively to clients.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in public relations, influencer marketing and integrated marketing communications, sharing your insights with the wider team and playing a key role in planning for skills and experience we will require for the future.
  • Create and lead strategic integrated marketing communications programs across all sectors that meet or exceed client objectives.
  • Maintain high-level media and influencer relationships, to build visibility for client news and subject matter experts.
  • Lead, coach and develop your team, and work with leadership to manage capacity, profitability and resourcing.

What We're Looking For:

  • More than 15 years of agency experience, or agency and in-house experience with a solid background in consumer communications / public relations / brand marketing.
  • Proven expertise in executing integrated marketing and communications programs, including digital, website, PR and content marketing programs
  • Proven team leadership capabilities, especially managing and influencing the careers of high performers. Ability to proactively address resourcing and capacity planning.
  • Proven track record of cultivating existing business and setting new business strategy to develop new clients.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships at the senior level, proven stakeholder management and influencing skills.
