We are seeking an experienced Business Management professional to support the Equities platform, operating at the intersection of business, operations, and governance. This role plays a critical part in enabling business growth while ensuring a strong control environment, with coverage across product onboarding, product lifecycle, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Management & Strategic Support
- Act as a trusted partner to Front Office, driving business priorities while ensuring alignment with governance and control frameworks
- Support end-to-end business management activities, including budgeting & management reporting
- Provide insights to senior stakeholders to support decision-making and business strategy
Client & Product Lifecycle Oversight
- Partner IBG on client onboarding and lifecycle processes, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Support onboarding of new products, ensuring operational readiness across systems, processes, and controls
- Drive consistency and quality in client servicing standards across the platform
Governance, Risk & Regulatory Management
- Ensure effective implementation of operational risk and control frameworks, including issue management and remediation
- Support regulatory compliance across onboarding and client lifecycle activities (AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, sanctions)
- Coordinate audit and regulatory engagements, ensuring timely and sustainable closure of findings
Transformation & Change Initiatives
- Support and drive strategic initiatives and system transformation programmes (e.g. platform migrations, process enhancements)
- Partner with Technology and Operations to ensure smooth delivery and minimal business disruption
- Balance delivery of change initiatives alongside ongoing BAU activities
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a key interface across Front Office, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology
- Support governance over outsourcing and vendor arrangements, including service delivery and regulatory requirements
- Drive alignment across stakeholders to achieve business outcomes in a controlled manner
Requirements
- Experience in financial services, ideally within business management, COO office, or operations
- Strong understanding of equities / institutional business and client lifecycle processes
- Solid knowledge of risk, governance, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment, managing both BAU and change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
