Senior Treasury Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall treasury function, covering customer funds, liquidity management, cash management, banking operations, and treasury controls across multiple markets and entities.
• Oversee customer fund safeguarding and segregation, ensuring funds are appropriately managed in accordance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Manage end-to-end fund flows, settlement, reconciliation, fund collection and disbursement, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution.
• Develop liquidity and cash management strategies to ensure sufficient funding for daily operations, settlements, and business growth.
• Own banking relationships and account structures, including bank account setup, payment rails, funding arrangements, and optimization of banking partners.
• Establish robust treasury governance, controls, and risk management frameworks covering liquidity, counterparty, operational, FX, and settlement risks.
• Partner closely with Finance, Payments, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to improve treasury infrastructure, automation, and scalability.
• Lead and develop the Treasury team while driving process standardization and operational excellence across regions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Extensive treasury experience within fintech, payments, digital wallets, cross-border payments, financial services, or other high-volume transaction businesses.
• Strong experience in customer funds/client money, liquidity management, settlement, reconciliation, cash management, and banking operations.
• Solid understanding of safeguarding/segregation requirements, treasury controls, and financial risk management.
• Proven experience managing complex multi-entity, multi-currency, and cross-border fund flows.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Technology.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in both English and Chinese to effectively engage regional Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
