About the Role:
Join our team as a Treasury Analyst/Associate, where you will play a key role in structuring and executing ship financing deals. You will gain hands-on experience in specialized asset-backed financing, supporting the entire lifecycle from initial proposal to financial close. This position offers direct exposure to senior leaders, major lenders, and strategic treasury activities in the dynamic global maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end ship financing, including drafting Requests for Proposal (RfP), negotiating term sheets, and managing lender due diligence.
- Analyze and review critical legal contracts (shipbuilding agreements, charter parties, and loan documentation).
- Prepare presentations and briefing materials for senior management and board approvals.
- Support the execution of hedging strategies to mitigate interest rate and foreign exchange risk.
- Monitor covenant compliance and assist in managing affiliate credit facilities.
- Conduct market research on shipping industry trends and financing structures.
- Provide analytical support for treasury projects, M&A due diligence, and investment evaluations.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in ship finance, corporate banking, leveraged finance, or a related corporate finance/audit role.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is advantageous.
- Ability to review and interpret complex legal and financial documents.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
