We are seeking a Senior Trading Analyst to join our team and provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights for the palm oil trading business.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyse palm oil market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and price movements.
- Monitor export/import data, weather patterns, government policies, and competing oils markets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market reports for management and clients.
- Build and maintain a database of historical market information.
- Support trading team with forecasts, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics ,Economics, Agribusiness, Commodities, or related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Knowledge of the palm oil industry and commodity trading.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and market research platforms.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin & English (Malay an advantage).
