Senior Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engage actively in the design review phase to ensure robust product quality. Work independently from the development team to validate products through rigorous testing. Design components and build test setups to meet specifications regarding quality, reliability, and safety. Prepare test plans and execute tests based on established methodologies and procedures. Collaborate with developers to refine features and address issues throughout the product lifecycle. Analyze the latest testing technologies and enhance testing procedures for improved efficiency and flexibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, communication engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in hardware and firmware testing with experience in various operating systems. Practical knowledge of testing methodologies and hands-on experience with lab equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Familiarity with instrument control and test automation using Python, Labview, or related tools. Experience in testing communication protocols (e.g., MODBUS, PMBUS, CAN) is preferred. Previous exposure to products with an output greater than 1kW is advantageous. Experience in developing graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for monitoring and debugging using tools like PyQt, Tkinter, or Labview is a plus. Knowledge of EMC and electrical safety testing will be beneficial.
