We are seeking a Senior IT Risk Analyst to join our client&aposs organisation, where you will help build and mature IT risk practices, manage technology incidents, and provide insights through data analytics to improve decision-making.Given the dynamic environment, we are looking for a hands-on and adaptable professional who is comfortable operating in both structured risk management and operational IT domains.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Risk Management
- Support the development and implementation of the IT risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct IT risk assessments, identify control gaps, and follow up on remediation actions.
- Assist in periodic risk reporting, KRIs/KPIs, and dashboards for senior management.
- Contribute to audit and regulatory reviews by providing accurate and timely information.
Incident & Issue Management
- Manage and coordinate IT incidents, ensuring timely escalation, communication, and resolution.
- Act as the point of contact between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors during incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and track remediation actions to closure.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to strengthen IT risk awareness and accountability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring alignment of IT risk practices with business needs.
- Build strong relationships across front, middle, and back office functions.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain reporting tools/dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or other analytics tools to track incidents, risks, and trends.
- Leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and enhance risk monitoring.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in risk reporting.
Other Contributions
- Be flexible to take on additional technology-related responsibilities as the IT risk function continues to mature.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and process documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-10 years&apos experience in IT risk management, technology governance, or IT operations (experience in financial services, trading, or related industries preferred).
- Familiarity with IT risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT).
- Proficient in data analytics/reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, less-structured environment, balancing both risk management and operational responsibilities.
