Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the technical / engineering team in delivering industrial machinery solutions, including industrial cranes and related equipment
Oversee preparation and review of technical proposals, engineering solutions, and equipment selection based on customer and project requirements
Provide technical support to sales and project teams, including pre-sales consultations and post-sales technical clarifications
Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
Evaluate and liaise with suppliers and manufacturers on technical matters, compliance, and equipment performance
Ensure all solutions comply with safety standards, statutory regulations, and industry codes
Drive continuous improvement in technical processes, standardisation, and best practices
Support project execution by resolving technical issues during installation, commissioning, and handover
Mentor and develop engineers, ensuring technical competency and knowledge transfer within the team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in industrial machinery, heavy equipment, or crane-related engineering
Proven experience in technical management or leading engineering teams
Strong knowledge of industrial cranes, lifting equipment, mechanical systems, and related controls
Experience in equipment selection, technical calculations, and engineering design review
Familiarity with local safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical mindset
Experience supporting sales and project teams in a commercial environment is an advantage
