Job Description

  • Preferably with experience in Aerospace component MRO environment specifically in cadmium, chrome and nickel plating
  • Proficient and technically ableto perform the following tasks:
  • Cleaning and degreasing of parts prior to plating- Masking and grit blasting of parts according to requirements
  • Fastening of parts onto racks, cathode bar or into baskets
  • Immersion of workpieces in series of cleaning, plating, pickling, and rinsing tanks
  • Removal of parts from racks, cathode bar or baskets
  • Inspection of parts for plating defects, such as rough spots and thin plating
  • Embrittlement relief baking of parts
  • Perform periodic maintenance of plating tank and equipment
  • Ability to write and converse in English.
  • Good working attitude and display a keen interest to learn and excel.
  • Attentive to details and ability to understand Component Maintenance Manuals.
  • Able to perform shiftwork (Morning and Afternoon on rotational basis), if necessary
