Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned customers, providing in-depth support on valve products, applications, and performance.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, understanding their operational needs and proactively identifying opportunities for additional support or product solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, production, and service) to deliver tailored solutions and ensure smooth execution of customer projects.
  • Provide technical guidance during the pre-sales, installation, commissioning, and post-sales phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, troubleshooting, and application reviews to support customer performance and reliability goals.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the product portfolio including control valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related systems.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and documentation to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support the commercial team by identifying cross-selling or up-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and customer developments to inform account strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a technical engineering role, preferably involving industrial valve systems.
  • Strong knowledge of valve selection, sizing, specifications, and standards used in industries such as oil & gas, power, water, petrochemical, or general manufacturing.
  • Proven experience working closely with customers in a technical account management or applications engineering capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive, customer-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits, customer meetings, and technical support.
