Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect / Application Owner with strong experience in Banking & Financial Services, particularly in Futures, Derivatives & Clearing (FDC) and Payments (SWIFT MT/MX & APAC Domestic). The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise platform modernization, real-time data integration, and cloud-native architecture, with proven delivery across global banking environments.
This role requires strong leadership in end-to-end SDLC delivery, regulatory-aligned development, release governance, and L3 production support oversight across multi-region teams (NAM, EMEA, APAC).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of mission-critical banking applications.
- Own business-critical applications including roadmap planning, governance, and L3 production support.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and RDBMS.
- Architect real-time and batch-based data transformation pipelines integrating upstream country processors with global FDC platforms.
- Implement and enhance payment gateway solutions for SWIFT MT/MX and APAC domestic payment systems.
- Drive large-scale platform modernization initiatives including migration from legacy infrastructure to containerized OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
- Manage release cycles, change governance, and regulatory compliance controls.
- Oversee SIT, UAT, and Production deployments ensuring high quality and operational stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across global regions (NAM, EMEA, APAC).
- Ensure adherence to code quality, security, and compliance standards using tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, Blackduck, and Greater Expectations (GE).
- Mentor engineering teams and promote Agile best practices.
