Here's What You'll Be Doing

  • Day-to-Day Technical and Account management support for DSPs:
    • Oversee the complete lifecycle of DSP partnerships in China from onboarding to integration, to ongoing maintenance and optimization
    • Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting account managers with strategic planning.
    • Act as the main point of contact for technical support, resolving issues, and escalating problems when necessary.
    • Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders at key Chinese DSPs.

  • Collaborate internally and externally to complete tasks for DSP Partners:
    • Build and maintain relationships with partners, both internally and externally.
    • Collaborate with commercial counterparts and engage in tickets and threads as required to complete tasks.

  • Support Strategic Planning and Proactively identify opportunities for growth:
    • Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives with commercial stakeholders, offering insights into larger opportunities for the region.
    • Identify ways to improve performance and efficiency, using data-driven analysis for DSPs.

  • Use Data Analysis to identify insights and resolve problems:
    • Use of BI tools to gain an in-depth understanding of data, tables, metrics, KPIs, and raw logs.
    • Regularly review integration health and monitor DSP performance within APAC, flagging issues and resolving problems with partners.

  • Gain in-depth product expertise to participate in technical conversations:
    • Serve as a consultant and as a strategic resource to our counterparts based in China, helping achieve business objective and outcomes through product offerings
    • Develop a deep understanding of Index's product offerings and exchange functions for both DSPs, publishers and Marketplaces
    • Guide partners through challenges unique to the Chinese market, including firewall latency, cloud hosting preferences (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud), and data flow limitations.
    • Stay informed about China's evolving digital advertising regulations, including PIPL and data localization requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with local market restrictions and surface potential risks or opportunities to internal teams.

  • Complete daily, monthly, and quarterly Operational Tasks:
    • Perform required operational tasks for the region and globally as required.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and documentation of partners unique setups and existing problems/issues.
    • Daily monitoring of Key KPIs and integration health metrics

  • Travel Regionally and provide Language Support:
    • Travel regionally to connect with team members and clients when required.
    • Can provide cross-functional support and translation assistance internally and externally to overcome language barriers within the business
    • Support Chinese-language communication and cultural translation across the business, including for publisher, agency, or marketplace discussions where applicable

  • Act as an Escalation POC:
    • Act as an escalation point for all issues in effecting our DSPs based out of China, routing problems to the correct teams or resolving them independently.
    • Act as an escalation point for issues occurring in NA/EMEA outside of NA/EMEA working hours

  • Project Management and Goal Execution:
    • Support the execution and development of team goals and strategic initiatives through project management and creating presentation decks.
Here's What You Need

  • 4-5 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Technical Account manager, Sales Engineering or similar role in the programmatic space, focusing on SSPs, DSPs, or Publishers.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of firewarewall, cloud hosting, and data flow limitation within market
  • Strong leadership skills with a successful track record of managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to bring innovative solutions to a technical environment.
  • Team player with a positive outlook, contributing to a growing organization.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with limited processes.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive and success-driven personality.
  • Exceptional analytical and consulting skills with experience in SQL
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of programmatic advertising (SSPs, DSPs, RTB, publisher and servers, video players, OTT, STV/CTV, SSAI), web and mobile development (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, APIs), and big data/data science is a plus.
