Responsibilities:
Talent Attraction and Employer Branding
- Assist on the development and implementation of the regional talent acquisition and employer branding strategy
- Execute a professional, brand enhancing candidate experience through all recruitment and selection cycle touch-points.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the employee value proposition and inspiring candidates to apply for positions and accept opportunities.
- Proactively build relationships with relevant stakeholders that strengthen employer branding in the region to attract the best talent
- Responsible in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes related to sourcing, recruiting, selection, promotion, transfer and on-boarding aligned to region and Head Office overall People strategy.
- Devise and execute the plan to actively manage talent pools that create a talent pipeline of candidates for role (for example, alumni, university or school engagements, and internships)
- Manage talent pools to help improve pipeline of talent for future which may include alumni efforts, university or school engagements, and internships
- Assist Manager in development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes related to sourcing, recruiting, promotion, transfer, on-boarding and off-boarding
- Work closely with Manager to leverage recruitment channels and improve sourcing effectiveness
- Participate in HR / talent acquisition projects as required, such as managing graduate recruitment programs and engaging early-career talent across Oceania.
Recruitment and Selection Process Excellence
- Manage the end to end recruitment and selection processes from discussing requirements with hiring managers and developing commercially focused, brand enhancing initiatives, job advertisement creation, sourcing, screening, selecting, offer and onboarding.
- Be the expert in recruitment tools and processes to ensure high quality of candidate experience and professionalism including the adoption of new tools and technology aligned with the global talent acquisition strategy.
- Conduct effective and timely shortlisting to ensure the most suitable candidates are seen by the hiring managers.
- Effectively prioritise different roles and ensure that time to fill is measured and optimised.
- Design and conduct interview and assessment centres.
- Administer and interpret psychometric tests and provide insights to the hiring managers.
- Conduct a targeted search for key roles as required.
- Coordinate recruitment and selection activity for all applicable overseas hires or internal transfers and secondments.
- Ensure all background checks are conducted in a compliant manner.
- Conduct reference checking via phone to ensure the quality of hires and risk minimisation.
- Lead the offer process, including salary negotiation.
- Manage internal promotion and progression programmes and activities as required.
- Be the expert in local legislation regarding recruitment and selection processes including discrimination and data privacy regulations.
- Issue and collect company property as required as well as conduct effective onboarding and off-boarding processes
- Provide support with employee transfers, secondments, visa applications and other administrative processes as required
E&A: Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
Requirements:
Academic Qualifications
- A tertiary degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
- Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on recruitment experience, especially in Oceania (Australia & New Zealand).
- Understands Oceania's hiring landscape, including best practices, compliance requirements, and relevant employment legislation.
- Conduct virtual interviews and assessment centres.
- Agile and quick to grasp business context, especially in remote work settings.
- Familiar with compensation and benefits frameworks.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and impartiality.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- High cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours due to time zone differences across the region. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
