About the position
We're seeking a dedicated Senior System Manager to join our Systems Core Delivery Team in Singapore. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our technology operations, ensuring our business-critical systems deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and value. You'll work with cutting-edge financial technology while contributing to the management of one of the world's largest investment funds.
What you will do:
- Operate, maintain, and develop core investment systems including trading, order management, and portfolio management platforms
- Ensure system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring, alerting, and optimization initiatives
- Implement automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency and quality
- Manage the complete system lifecycle according to IT guidelines, from initial deployment to decommissioning
- Manage third-party vendor relationships, ensuring service excellence and value optimization
- Handle change management including incident response, service requests, and system updates
- Plan and execute technology refresh cycles and modernization initiatives
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities to minimize operational risk
- Create user feedback mechanisms to continuously improve system functionality and user experience
- Collaborate with business units across Investment areas, Technology and Operations teams globally
- Support end users by driving innovation while maintaining operational stability
- Develop infrastructure for integrating off-the-shelf solutions into the core technology ecosystem
- Documenting and analysing end user requirements and participate in projects
- Identifying development areas, whether technical, data, or process related, and drive change
What you need
- Understanding of Equity, fixed income, and FX asset classes
- Understanding of the trade life cycle
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Improving and managing service-based architecture
- Experience with Linedata Longview and SimCorp Dimension
- Experience designing and developing of API's is a plus
- Python experience
- AWS and Microsoft Azure experience
