About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our dynamic team at KTC. As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimized system performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Clementi West Region.
What you'll be doing
- Designing, implementing and maintaining robust enterprise-level IT systems and networks
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure optimal system uptime and user productivity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related business requirements
- Researching and evaluating new technologies to recommend and implement solutions that drive efficiency and innovation
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all IT systems and processes
- Ensuring all IT systems and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar technical role
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise-level IT systems, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization
- Proven track record of designing, implementing and maintaining complex IT infrastructures
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies, such as VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, and Linux
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, RHCE) are highly desirable
