Job Description

Role:

. Ensure smooth operation of internet-facing public digital platforms hosted on Commercial Cloud.

. Oversee implementation and upgrade of software and hardware components.

. Liaise with government agencies, contractors, service providers and third parties to deliver O&M activities.

. Manage system documentation, configuration, and maintain quality standards.

. Monitor systems to ensure adherence to IT policies, standards and directives.

. Perform IT compliance activities: log reviews, account/access rights reviews, and compliance reporting.

. Support and coordinate external system audits.

. Lead Vulnerability Assessment activities and drive remediation with relevant vendors.

. Manage lifecycle of system components: remediation, retirement, and disposal of obsolete items.

. Provide regular project and operational status reporting.

. Support R&D activities: experimentation, research, testing and evaluation.

. Own and resolve system support issues and defects within SLA.

. Lead incident and problem investigations, including cross-system issues.

. Coordinate with stakeholders for root cause analysis and resolution.

. Provide timely updates to management and stakeholders on incident status.

. Deliver consolidated incident reports and perform defect trend analysis to prevent recurrence.

. Ensure expedient closure of incidents and service requests.

. Change & Improvement Management.

. Propose and drive continuous improvement initiatives for compliance, cybersecurity, and processes.

. Conduct requirement gathering with end users and manage implementation of changes.

. Plan and execute Change Requests including setup, data collection, issue escalation and closure.

. Manage integration with existing system integrators to deliver end-to-end solutions.

. Oversee acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet specifications.

. Drive change management communication to keep stakeholders informed.

. Obtain necessary approvals and clearance for change execution.

Requirements:

. Minimum 3 years of working experience in Information Technology.

. Strong experience in IT operations, system administration, and incident management.

. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.

. Experience with AWS is advantageous.

. Familiarity with IT audit processes, compliance reviews, and security best practices.

. Knowledge of government/public sector ICT policies and frameworks is advantageous.

. Proven ability to manage vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

. Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.

. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a high-compliance environment.

. This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
