Job Description

Seeking a Senior Business / System Analyst with experience in Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions and enterprise banking systems. This role is responsible for translating business needs into functional and system requirements, performing gap analysis, solution design, and product configuration, while ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational workflows. The candidate will collaborate with solution architects, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions, support testing and implementation, and drive successful system adoption within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan solution design, testing, and implementation activities in collaboration with the Delivery Manager, including timelines and effort estimates.

  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand, analyze, and validate business, functional, and system requirements.

  • Translate high-level product vision into detailed system and technical requirements in collaboration with solution architects.

  • Define system interactions and process flows required to support business processes.

  • Perform functional impact analysis and risk assessments by evaluating current systems against proposed solutions.

  • Conduct gap analysis to determine how existing system capabilities align with required business functions.

  • Design functional solutions aligned with CLM workflows and platform capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across systems.

  • Define data mapping, transaction flows, and error-handling mechanisms with support from technical teams.

  • Prepare and maintain functional specification documents for proposed solutions.

  • Obtain stakeholder validation, approval, and official sign-off for requirements and solution designs.

  • Ensure complete traceability between original requirements and final technical deliverables.

  • Configure rule sets, workflows, data mappings, and UI behavior to align with defined CLM workflows and operational requirements.

  • Collaborate with test managers and test leads to ensure testing coverage aligns with business requirements.

  • Support integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Work with technical teams or vendors to determine root causes and support defect resolution.

  • Work with technical leads to develop implementation plans covering system configurations, deployment steps, and operational runbooks.

  • Support migration design and cross-domain data mapping activities.

  • Ensure reconciliation processes are validated with both functional and technical stakeholders.

  • Provide ongoing user support to ensure effective system utilization.

  • Provide support for system incidents and perform root cause analysis.

  • Escalate risks, blockers, or operational challenges to project management in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 7-10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or System Analyst, within banking, financial institutions, or consulting environments.

  • Good analytical and logical thinking with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of managing responsibilities independently or within a team.

  • Good sense of ownership and accountability in delivering project outcomes.

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.

  • Technical understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

  • Domain knowledge in Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) is a plus.
