Job:

You will support the enhancement, integration, and maintenance of medical record system and related healthcare applications. You will work closely with clinicians, business users, vendors, and technical teams to translate business needs into functional system solutions.

You will be involved in system analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation of healthcare IT systems, ensuring alignment with operational workflows and regulatory requirements.

Role:

. Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements for EMR and related healthcare systems.

. Work closely with stakeholders (clinicians, operations, vendors, and IT teams) to understand workflows and translate them into system specifications.

. Support system design, configuration, and enhancement requests.

. Prepare functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and user stories.

. Participate in system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.

. Provide production support, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.

. Ensure system changes comply with healthcare standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

. Support data migration, interface development, and system upgrades where required.

. Conduct user training and prepare system documentation where necessary.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or equivalent.

. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst in healthcare IT projects.

. Good understanding of hospital workflows (e.g. registration, inpatient/outpatient, orders, clinical documentation).

. Experience in requirements gathering, functional specification writing, and system testing.

. Familiarity with healthcare standards and integration technologies such as: HL7 / FHIR, Web services / APIs SQL and relational databases.

. Exposure to EMR systems, clinical systems, or hospital information systems will be highly preferred.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

. Experience with system integration and interface engines.

. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and data security standards.

. Experience supporting large-scale government or public healthcare IT systems.

. Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Healthcare IT is an advantage.

. This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
