Main Duties & Responsibilities
- This position will lead the country's supply chain organisation, covering purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, last-mile logistics, repair partner management, and new capability development. The successful candidate will partner closely with both Singapore and regional APAC stakeholders to support business, customer, and operational outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy for Singapore, ensuring alignment with financial, service, and operational objectives.
- Strengthen sourcing and procurement channels by identifying partners that support cost efficiency, optimisation, and resilience.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and fulfilment processes to achieve consistent service levels and compliance requirements.
- Drive performance excellence across last-mile distribution and collection operations, ensuring timely device turnaround for customers.
- Collaborate with authorised repair partners to improve quality, throughput, turnaround time, and network reliability.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, repair, and fulfilment operations, leveraging data insights and process optimisation.
- Lead the expansion of new service models, including walk-in retail repair capabilities and 7-day fulfilment enhancements to improve customer experience.
- Support the growth of home technology service programs by establishing a robust procurement, remanufacturing, and liquidation network.
- Work cross-functionally with APAC leaders in Customer Solutions, Product, Finance, and IT to harmonize processes and drive operational scalability.
- Develop, coach, and mentor a diverse operations team, ensuring strong leadership, role clarity, and performance standards.
- Ensure all operational activities adhere to international trade, compliance, and organisational governance frameworks.
Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate is an operationally strong, hands-on leader with deep supply chain expertise in mobile devices, electronics, IT hardware, or high-velocity consumer environments. You bring a balanced blend of strategic viewpoint and day-to-day operational oversight, with the ability to influence partners, lead teams, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of supply chain or operations experience, ideally within mobile device, IT, consumer electronics, or service-based industries.
- Proven leadership of warehousing, fulfilment, logistics, and/or repair operations.
- Experience managing OEM repair partners, logistics providers, and vendor networks.
- Strong exposure to process improvement, operational excellence, and change management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-driven; comfortable operating in fast-changing environments.
- Experience with data analytics tools or dashboards is an advantage.
