Job Description

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Master Data that are fundamental to business processes that touch and influence the user experience. Relevant systems and processes include, but are not limited to, SAP IBP, SAP S/4 system. This position will work closely with both business process owner and everyday users of these systems to execute data creation and maintenance processes to meet the expected service and quality levels.

Master Data creation and maintenance:

  • Collect and validate data identified on requests for creation and maintenance
  • Process, update, and distribute newly created master data records and results (Location Product, Production Data Structure (PDS), PDS Activity , PDS Resource, PDS Component, Transportation Lane, Resource etc.)
  • Seek a high degree of accuracy and efficiency with master data requests; process requests in accordance with current master data standards and processes

Data Quality:

  • Run requested data quality and data analysis requests or reports in support
  • Participate in testing and development of new Change Request and reports in support of data quality
  • Identify and escalate any trends and patterns with data requests or integrity
  • Share suggestions for process improvement and effective enhancements in support of an enhanced user experience

Project / Business-As-Usual support:

  • Support adhoc efforts to mass create or change master data in support of new project launches, business process changes, or other project work
  • Process mass changes utilizing master data procedures
  • Help to identify data cleansing opportunities and take initiative to correct data quality problems
  • Balance the incoming queue of new requests with unplanned needs to support Project and Launch deadlines

Incident & Problem Management

  • Provide help and estimates for feasibility assessment in incident and problem management
  • User and support documentation
  • Coordinate with Application Management System team for proper incident follow-up and closure

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management or Logistics with 1-2 years of experience in a production environment or a business environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of ERP Master Data creation with a focus on Material/Item Masters
  • Experience working within SAP S/4 or SAP IBP strongly preferred
  • Ability to collect, organize, process, and disseminate significant numbers of requests and transactions in an enterprise level master data systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • User focused with an emphasis on clear communication
  • Adapt easily to changing environments and system enhancements
  • Microsoft Excel and office suite required
  • Day to day use and familiarity with databases and database processes preferred.
