The Role
Provide direct quality patient care to patients, maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards through continuing education and development.
Key accountabilities
- Manage and plan the care management of individual patient using the 4-prong Systematic Approach to Nursing Delivery comprising Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation.
- Carry out physicians treatment/investigations as ordered.
- Participate in action plans for the unit to enhance employee engagement and maximize employee performance.
- Maintain current trends in nursing practice and management through formal education and self-development.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve and follow through quality/service issues.
- Demonstrate competency in nursing core & special skills.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- SNB Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate
- Diploma In Nursing/Degree Qualification
- Post-basic Specialty Certificate (desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Good telephone etiquette.
