Senior Staff Nurse/ Staff Nurse (Infection Control)

Job Description:

• Support the implementation and execution of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Programme in accordance with institutional policies and standards.
• Conduct ongoing surveillance and ward rounds to identify, investigate, and report healthcare-associated infections, outbreaks, clusters, and potential infection risks involving patients, staff, and equipment.
• Provide expert advice on IPC-related matters to ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate data and records related to IPC surveillance activities and clinical incidents.
• Organize and conduct audits in assigned wards to assess adherence to IPC protocols and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Deliver IPC training and education sessions to both patients and healthcare staff to promote awareness and best practices.

Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
• Valid SNB & BCLS
