Duties:
- Assess patients health conditions, monitor vital signs, and document nursing observations.
- Provide direct patient care including administering medications, injections, and IV therapy as prescribed.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised nursing care plans.
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound dressing, catheter care, suctioning, and blood taking as required.
- Assist doctors during medical examinations and procedures.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication use, and health management.
- Monitor patient progress, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and update patient records.
- Ensure infection control practices and patient safety standards are followed.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and discharge planning.
- Supervise and guide enrolled nurses, nursing assistants, and junior staff when required.
