(Senior) Staff Nurse, Cancer Centre

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs throughout the outpatient journey and implement care accordingly. Document care provided and monitor outcomes using approved charts and forms. Administer treatments and investigations as prescribed by physicians. Assist physicians with clinical procedures and day cases in compliance with established hospital guidelines. Ensure the delivery of safe and competent nursing care aligned with nursing standards. Demonstrate proficiency in core nursing competencies and specialized clinic/centre competencies. Facilitate follow-up on continuity of patient care and treatment plans. Collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare providers for seamless patient care delivery. Provide patient and family education on disease prevention, health education, and rehabilitation tailored to patient needs. Manage patient feedback according to established hospital protocols and professional ethics. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and consumables. Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the clinic/centre. Assume the responsibilities of a registered nurse (RN) in charge and supervise new/junior staff.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with approval from the Singapore Nursing Board. Minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience, including 2 years as a Staff Nurse. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate with a positive and caring attitude.
