SENIOR/STAFF MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Design machine frames, steel structures, sheet metal covers, and vision/optical module mountings.

• Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.

• Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings.

• Select suitable materials and ensure structural strength and stability.

• Work with suppliers on fabrication and manufacturing requirements.

• Support machine assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure successful equipment development.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• At least 8 years of relevant mechanical design experience.

• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.

• Experience in machine frame design, steel structures, and sheet metal fabrication.

• Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.

• Basic understanding of machine vision and optical modules, including mechanical mounting, alignment, and integration into automated equipment.

• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a startup environment.
