We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer to join our team in the Semiconductor Back End Scan/Pack/AOI Unit Process Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements, reducing process variances and waste, and supporting production ramp-up. Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Analyze, improve, characterize, and control processes to achieve stability and reduce process variances and waste
- Define and update Process Flow, FMEA, OJTI, and OCAP to ensure efficient and effective processes
- Lead investigations on customer returns, deviation management, crisis management, risk management, and mitigation to ensure high-quality products and customer satisfaction
- Drive and actively participate in cross-functional projects on process improvement, cost reduction, and Industrial 4.0 factory automation to stay ahead of the competition
- Support defect characterization, commonality studies, and yield improvement initiatives through data analysis and machine learning to optimize production processes
- Support qualification and release of new processes, 2nd source packing materials, and equipment to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to production
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry
- Strong problem-solving, good communication, and leadership skills
- Expertise in FMEA, Lean Six Sigma, 8D Methodology, and APC/SPC
- Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools such as Minitab, JMP, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience in IATF16949 quality management system standard and change management is an added advantage
- Profound understanding of semiconductor packing materials and experience in AOI machines such as KLA Tencor is an added advantage
