StriveX is partnering with a leading corporate bank in Southeast Asia, who is seeking a highly skilled Structured Finance Specialist to join their team. This role will play a key part in driving deal origination and execution across the region.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead transaction workstreams including financial modeling, credit analysis, and due diligence.
- Drive structuring discussions and recommend optimal financing solutions.
- Review and validate financial models prepared by junior team members.
- Prepare and review credit memos and internal presentations for screening and credit committees.
- Present transactions to internal committees and address senior management queries.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Risk, CMD) and external advisors.
- Lead negotiations on term sheets and financing documentation under senior guidance.
- Identify new business opportunities, prepare client proposals, and participate in client meetings.
- Provide market insights and contribute to strategic initiatives.
- Oversee monitoring of existing projects and ensure timely reporting.
- Guide and train junior team members on modeling, credit analysis, and execution.
Skills & Experience Required
- 68 years of experience in Leveraged Finance, or Structured Finance within a bank or advisory firm.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced financial modeling expertise.
- Deep understanding of credit analysis, risk assessment, and project finance structures.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions under tight deadlines.
- Origination mindset with commercial awareness; ESG knowledge is a plus.
