Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Integration Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless integrations between our Finance and HR systems and external third-party applications. This position requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of integration technologies, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration Design and Architecture:
    • Analyze business requirements to identify integration needs and design robust integration solutions.
    • Develop integration architecture, including data mapping, workflow design, and error handling mechanisms.
    • Select appropriate integration technologies and tools based on project requirements and organizational standards.

  • Integration Implementation, Testing and Validation:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate integration functionality and data accuracy.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with development and operations teams.
    • Monitor integration performance and identify potential bottlenecks or performance issues.

  • Integration Maintenance and Support:
    • Provide ongoing support for existing integrations, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements.
    • Stay updated on emerging integration technologies and industry best practices.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for integration optimization and automation.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders.
    • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Document integration processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience, with a focus on systems integration
  • Proven experience in IT support in integration with Finance or HR systems.
  • Able to map and transform data between disparate systems is essential. This involves understanding data structures, identifying inconsistencies, and applying appropriate transformations to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Familiar with different types and modes of integration. Strong in troubleshooting integration issues.
  • Knowledge and experience applying integration concepts relating to batch processing and real time processing via API.
  • Understands software development methodology, configuration management and lifecycle.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration concepts and experience with integrating disparate systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is a plus
