Serves as a key team member supporting electrification team functions.
Designs and reviews functional system specifications for energy infrastructure and electrification-related projects.
Performs topside power system design for energy infrastructure, including operational philosophy, design calculations, and detailed engineering drawings.
Conducts sizing analysis for new-build and retrofit electric vessels.
Leads compliance efforts related to grid and transmission requirements.
Engages with stakeholders to provide project design updates and alignment.
Plans, coordinates, and executes EPC activities and energy storage system implementation for energy infrastructure projects.
Works effectively toward departmental objectives, adapting to changing priorities and assignments.
Performs additional ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirements
Possesses a Degree or Diploma in marine, mechanical, or electrical engineering disciplines.
Good knowledge of marine energy infrastructure design, including energy storage systems, smart grid, and microgrid implementation.
Prior experience in grid-tie project development and execution.
Familiarity with the design, review, and simulation of energy infrastructure applications.
Familiar with IEC/IEEE standards related to energy infrastructure and energy storage systems.
Prior experience in designing and executing marine or land-based power systems.
Experience with LV/MV switching, variable frequency drives, or uninterruptible power supply operations.
Ability to understand single-line diagrams (SLD) and schematic drawings.
Good knowledge of power system protection schemes.
