Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute APAC communications strategies aligned with business and marketing priorities
  • Build and manage relationships with media and internal spokespeople
  • Proactively secure media opportunities, including commentary and thought leadership
  • Develop press materials, key messaging, and executive content
  • Provide media training and support across formats
  • Support crisis communications and issue management
  • Monitor media coverage and provide insights based on trends and sentiment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Legal, HR, and leadership
  • Establish frameworks and KPIs for regional communications, aligned with global standards
  • Deliver timely reporting on communications performance
  • Support additional communications activities as needed

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years in corporate communications, PR, or media relations, ideally across in-house and agency settings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Established media relationships across APAC, including financial and business press
  • Ability to simplify complex financial topics for diverse audiences
  • Experience in matrixed, global organizations and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with performance and sentiment-based reporting
  • Experience integrating media with broader marketing initiatives
  • Flexibility to work across time zones
  • Professional proficiency in Mandarin required as you need to engage with Mandarin speaking stakeholers.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field

Working Environment:

  • 4 days in office, 1 day remote
