This position is to assist the Executive Chef to oversee the entire kitchen operations and to ensure consistency in food quality and work performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
.Assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations
.Assisting in the planning and development of menus and recipes
.Supervising, training & developing the team, and to ensure consistency in their work performance
.Ensure quality control and presentation of the food
.Oversee and ensure proper handling & storage of all food items in accordance with the hygiene standards and sanitation regulations
.Attend onsite catering events and ensure a successful execution of food items
REQUIREMENTS
.Well versed in western culinary arts
.Experience in managing multi-department kitchen
.Preferably to have certification for Food Hygiene Officer
