Job Description

Senior Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:

. .. Operations Management..: Oversee daily food production, manage shifts, and ensure smooth back-of-house flow.

. Staff Leadership: Train, mentor, schedule, and supervise culinary staff motivate the team.

. Food Quality & Menu: Ensure consistent high standards in preparation, presentation, and taste assist with menu development and specials.

. Cost Control: Monitor food and labor costs, manage inventory, control waste, and approve supply orders.

. Hygiene & Safety: Enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and health standards (HACCP).

. .. Executive Chef Support..: Act as the Head Chef's right hand, taking charge when they are absent.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

. Strong culinary expertise across multiple cuisines/techniques.

. Proven leadership, communication, and time management skills.

. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

. Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, and food costing.

. Experience in kitchen operations, sanitation, and staff training
