Job Responsibilities
Source for new supplier, manage factory and proejct /product cost
- Source and onboard new suppliers to support business and product requirements
- Lead new product sourcing from initial inquiry through to production readiness
- Manage factory relationships and oversee factory performance
- Drive year-on-year cost reduction for sustaining products
- Manage project and product costing, including pricing system review and improvement
- Ensure ongoing material supply assurance and support supply pipeline continuity
- Build and manage relationships with contract manufacturers (CMs), direct component suppliers, and strategic sourcing partners
- Conduct Product Information Request (PIR) investigations and field searches
- Maintain and update component item master and BOM cost data in SAP
- Manage sales and disposition of obsolete materials
- Perform regular database housekeeping to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Pre-Requisites
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing-related roles.
- Experience working with suppliers, contract manufacturers (CMs), and direct component suppliers.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, including item master and BOM cost maintenance.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
