The Opportunity

Our client is a leading facilities and services organisation seeking a Director of Facilities Solutions to lead the development of innovative, commercially competitive and operationally effective facilities management solutions for complex regional and global opportunities.

This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of business development, operations, commercial strategy and client engagement, responsible for shaping solutions that meet client objectives while ensuring successful operational delivery.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams through the solution development process, bringing together technical services, workplace experience, sustainability initiatives, asset optimisation programmes and support services into integrated client offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of integrated facilities management solutions for strategic opportunities.
Develop operating models covering technical maintenance, workplace services, sustainability, smart building technologies and support services.
Create organisational structures, staffing models and service delivery frameworks aligned to client requirements.
Partner with business development teams throughout pursuit and bid activities.
Develop compelling solution strategies and value propositions for prospective clients.
Coordinate operational, commercial, procurement and subject matter experts throughout the solution development cycle.
Review commercial assumptions, staffing costs and investment strategies to ensure competitiveness and deliverability.
Present solutions to executive stakeholders during workshops, presentations and proposal processes.
Lead solution governance throughout the bid lifecycle, ensuring consistency, accuracy and alignment.
Assess risks, opportunities and differentiators within proposed solutions.
Support pricing development and commercial modelling activities.
Coordinate multi-regional contributions for complex national and international opportunities.
Ensure successful transition of awarded solutions into mobilisation and operational teams.
Provide guidance to operational leadership teams on solution implementation and delivery.

Experience supporting large national or international outsourcing opportunities.
Strong project and programme management capability.
Ability to balance commercial competitiveness with operational practicality.
