The Role
Kaleido is growing rapidly and seeks a Senior Solution Architect to drive technical solution design, customer workshops, and delivery for enterprise and financial services customers globally. This role sits at the intersection of product, architecture, and go-to-market, working closely with existing customers, new prospects, internal engineering, product, and business leadership to design scalable blockchain and digital asset solutions that accelerate enterprise adoption and expand Kaleido's global footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical customer journey, guiding customers through pre-sales early discovery to post sale solutions design, implementation, and production deployment
- Lead architecture and solutioning workshops with financial enterprises, driving alignment across technical, business, security, and compliance stakeholders
- Partner closely with other Customer teams including Sales and Business Development on pre-sales engagements, including technical discovery, validation, security reviews, and solution architecture
- Design secure, scalable blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset architectures leveraging Kaleido's Chain Infrastructure, Web3 Middleware, Digital Assets & Tokenization, and Custody offerings
- Deliver technical deep dives, demos, and whiteboard sessions for engineering, product, security, compliance, and executive audiences
- Translate business, regulatory, and operational requirements into production-ready technical architectures
- Act as the technical voice of the customer internally, influencing product roadmap priorities and platform capabilities
- Develop reusable reference architectures, best practices, and enablement materials to scale Kaleido's go-to-market motion
Your Experience
- 5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Cloud Architect, working with enterprise customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead customer-facing discovery sessions and architecture workshops, distilling complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Solid hands-on technical foundation, comfortable writing basic SQL queries, working with APIs, webhooks, and websockets, and building or prototyping small applications (often leveraging AI tools) to demonstrate or validate solutions
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, security, identity, and enterprise integration patterns in real-world, production environments
- Experience operating in or with regulated or complex environments, with an appreciation for compliance, security, and operational constraints
- Interest in blockchain, digital assets, and Web3, with a desire to understand how blockchains work at a practical, architectural level
- Bonus: specialization in areas such as payments, cloud infrastructure, financial services, security, or the ability to create clear, polished technical presentations
