We are working with a leading financial institution in Singapore. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Solution Architect to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner closely with IT and business project teams to refine the architecture and strengthen security designs for legacy applications.
- Supply application architecture directives, design patterns, and optimal practices for constructing both internal banking systems and customer-facing applications.
- Act as technical lead to manage detailed technical design, development, deployment, and operational aspects of new applications.
- Provide direction to developers and engineers on intricate implementation matters and coding difficulties.
- Create and maintain a technology governance structure, driving adoption of IT policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Collaborate productively with diverse organizational stakeholders to advance and support digital transformation efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 15 years in the financial industry, including at least 5 years in a technical leadership role and a demonstrated history of delivering transformation projects.
- Proven success in modernizing complex enterprise applications.
- Experience in designing and implementing microservice architectures for mission-critical systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java and .NET for designing and developing multi-tier application architectures.
- Comprehensive knowledge and development experience with Oracle and MS-SQL databases.
- Solid understanding of IBM middleware tools such as MQ, IIB, IWA, and Instana.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure APIM, Functions, Logic App, SQL Database) is advantageous.
- Experience in developing and supporting customer-facing banking portals.
- Knowledge and experience with Financial Industry Risks & Compliance, as well as Management & Controls.
- Strong grasp of security standards and practices, with experience in designing solutions that meet security requirements.
- Experience in establishing enterprise IT governance frameworks, processes, and guidelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate effectively at all organizational levels, with skill in influencing others toward consensus.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
