Looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an agile, cross-functional team building secure, scalable, mission-critical digital platforms for the public sector. You will work across the full stack, developing responsive front-end applications and robust backend services, with opportunities to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack features (Next.js, Redux, JavaScript Java, Python, C++)
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with QA, UI/UX, and DevOps to ensure quality and user-centric design
- Implement unit/integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues
- Maintain documentation and follow secure coding practices
- (Optional) Contribute to architecture and system integration with government platforms
Requirements
- 4-6 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, or C++)
- Experience with Next.js, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, OOP, and secure coding
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab, Confluence)
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or IoT systems is an added advantage
