We are looking for a React Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll be part of a global agile engineering team delivering a portfolio of high-performance applications that provide real-time product and market data to internal and external users.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable frontend applications using React, JavaScript and TypeScript
- Implement well-structured, maintainable and testable code following modern frontend standards
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into effective solutions
- Build and optimize DevOps pipelines for continuous integration, testing and deployment
- Ensure high code quality through test-driven development practices and peer reviews
- Drive improvements in frontend performance, scalability and user experience
- Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and promote engineering best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Proficiency with modern frontend tools such as Webpack, npm/yarn and Git
- Strong background in test-driven development (JUnit, Jest, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery practices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working in distributed teams
Nice to have
- Experience with styled components or CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
- Familiarity with state management frameworks such as Redux, Thunk, or Saga
- Prior experience in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) or data-intensive systems
