I am currently working with a well known biotechnology research company. Office located in Woodlands - but there&aposs shuttle bus provided from multiple MRT stations.
Salary structure: Base + allowance + bonus. Hybrid working arrangement - 1 or 2 days WFH. Working hours 8am to 5pm. Can end work early and have more personal time. Might need to take 7am US calls.
About Job
- Work as part of Agile scrum teams to design, implement, and test the instrument operating system (OS) and control software
- Gather requirements, create, verify and release OS images for computers
- Troubleshooting issues with the OS images and hardware, in development, manufacturing and the field
- Support both Windows and Linux Oss
- Participate in all aspects of our agile development process, from sprint planning to daily scrum meetings, sprint demos and code reviews
Skills And Requirements
- Min 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree
- Professional Linux certification is a plus
- A proven track record designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux and Windows OS Images
- Experience in an object-oriented programming language; C++ or C#
- Experience with using kickstart files to install systems and ansible playbooks to configure them
- Software development experience with programming and scripting languages (C#, Python, Bash preferred)
- Proficient with source control management repositories (GIT, SVN)
- Experience in CI/CD
