Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and support mission-critical applications within Singapore's Public Sector. You will work on enterprise systems involving C# .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, REST APIs, and Power BI, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# .NET / .NET Core and RESTful APIs.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions.
Write and optimize MSSQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
Integrate applications with external systems, APIs, and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Configure and customize enterprise applications and business rules to support operational workflows.
Participate in FAT, UAT, system integration testing, and production deployments.
Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and support production operations.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable software delivery.

Requirements

5+ years of software development experience, preferably in enterprise or mission-critical systems.
Strong hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
C# .NET / .NET Core / .NET Framework development
Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and data modelling
Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and system integration.
Experience working with Singapore Government agencies or statutory boards.
Familiarity with public sector security, governance, and compliance requirements.
Exposure to Microsoft Azure, cloud-native services, or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) is advantageous.
Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, Agile, and enterprise testing processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
